C’est l’un des outils les plus utilisés par les clients de l’entreprise californienne. HashiCorp vient de dévoiler une nouvelle version majeure de Terraform 1.0, sa solution de provisioning multicloud.

L’éditeur annonce cette semaine, dans le cadre de sa conférence HashiConf Europe, la disponibilité globale de [1]HashiCorp Terraform 1.0 . La solution entend devenir la nouvelle norme en matière de provisioning et d’automatisation multicloud ..

L’application Terraform a été téléchargée plus de 100 millions de fois depuis sa création, nous explique HashiCorp. Elle est aujourd’hui soutenue par un écosystème croissant de 100 partenaires technologiques, de plus de 1.000 fournisseurs et de 5.000 modules et extensions.

Objectifs de la mise à jour annoncée ce mardi et disponible partout dans le monde : " apporter de nouvelles garanties d’évolutivité, d’interopérabilité de l’écosystème et de stabilité à son approche d’infrastructure en tant que code ".

L’annonce comporte plusieurs volets :

Terraform 1.0 : depuis sa sortie en 2014, 15 versions majeures de Terraform ont vu le jour grâce au travail de plus de 1.500 contributeurs. Ses atouts : " API stable, facilité des mises à jour et interopérabilité pour toutes les futures versions 1.x " ;

Flux de publications du registre public vers le registre privé, grâce à des " capacités de composition, de collaboration et réutilisation de l’infrastructure en tant que code à l’aide de modules et d’options des registres public et privé " ;

Gestion des espaces de travail, vue d’ensemble et aperçus ;

Une fonction exécution de Terraform vérifie les intégrations de tierces parties : " aujourd’hui, Terraform Cloud a exécuté 1,6 million de vérifications de politiques Sentinel ".

However, on religious issues there can be little or no compromise.
There is no position on which people are so immovable as their religious
beliefs. There is no more powerful ally one can claim in a debate than
Jesus Christ, or God, or Allah, or whatever one calls this supreme being.
But like any powerful weapon, the use of God's name on one's behalf
should be used sparingly. The religious factions that are growing
throughout our land are not using their religious clout with wisdom.
They are trying to force government leaders into following their position
100 percent. If you disagree with these religious groups on a
particular moral issue, they complain, they threaten you with a loss of
money or votes or both. I'm frankly sick and tired of the political
preachers across this country telling me as a citizen that if I want to be
a moral person, I must believe in "A," "B," "C," and "D." Just who do
they think they are? And from where do they presume to claim the
right to dictate their moral beliefs to me? And I am even more angry as
a legislator who must endure the threats of every religious group who
thinks it has some God-granted right to control my vote on every roll
call in the Senate. I am warning them today: I will fight them every
step of the way if they try to dictate their moral convictions to all
Americans in the name of "conservatism."
