I can't see any point to this other than providing LinkedIn ai training data.
I *want* ai to keep clearly sounding like fucking ai (although, being honest, I can't think of a single post on LinkedIn that didn't sound like it was written by a robot, ever).

It's only worth following the sit-down comedians, including reading the comments on their posts and following some of those people. These fellows come to mind, but there are many:

There are others, but I've deleted as much of my content as I could (including many good jokes), so it's not easy for me to find those people at this point. I tried to delete my entire account, but somehow that didn't work.

It IS training data. They will refine the AI slop until less and less people identify it. The fooled-ya rate will go through the roof then.

"AI Slop!" is the new "Dislike" on social media. And many Linkedin posts read worse than AI before text generators were even a thing ... still not fair to call them out as AI, LinkedIn should just add a "Crap I don't want to read" button.

I started a few times signing up to it but reading those profiles was just disgusting. The amount of lies on that site is mindbogglingly pathetic.
Over the top corporate speak parody (Score:2)
I am a bit fed up with all the corporate eufimisms on linkedin. I just unclogged my toillet becomes:

Even chatgpt can make these things in an instant. There is a clear statistical pattern there. So I make it a point to be a bit more real and authentic. I occasionally do posts, more or less a bit of a blog now and then about something exciting I encountered. I am a teacher. One example is my attempts at correcting homework with AI, a hobby project. I get useful feedback there from people with more experience.

People who adopt those concepts into their worldview are famously blind to parody, they cannot tell it apart from reality. If someone was asked 15 years ago what LinkedIn exists for, they would likely tell you it’s a site where you can store your digital resume and network with people you know and trust, who also know you. Essentially your digital references.
Today LinkedIn only leaves a Bob asking ”What would you say you do here?”
