It's all a ploy by AI companies (Score:2)
Get everyone using and depending on AI, that way when it finally comes time to pay for the massive bill they can't pay for from operating at huge losses we can use the government to bail them out too! Meanwhile they'll gobble up all the electric and water and we get to foot the bill.

What exactly is being proposed here? Is this saying that venture capitalists will force the companies they back to use AI tools? And the venture capitalists will get a cut of these forced sales?

Fire all the workers and hire AI, its a perfect world for them. But every time they try and get rid of workers they find out there is consequences, I doubt this time will be different.

It might be that getting "Trumped" has caused Anthropic to turn away from government work and look for other business. Becoming the go-to AI company for Wall Street would hardly be a consolation prize. It's probably an even bigger market than defense.

The only loser is the customer, for whom these PE-backed, resource starved LLMs will provide terrible service.
