A little different. Razor blades didn't include the option of learning from every use. Adobe is just as obsessed as every other company right now with aggregating your data into their cloud so they can train their AI features on it. That's the only reason they're offering this for free to any users. Of course, if the users make heavy use of it and use much cloud storage, they'll be able to charge them for their storage, while still using their data for training their AIs. Is that the whole of their economic model? Is this designed to be a "teaser to get you addicted so you pay for paid content or tolerate ads"?
Importantly, does their economic model rely on me giving them rights to my data that I'd rather keep for myself or that I might not have the legal right to give them?
How does that saying go, "if you aren't paying for it, you are the product, but the reverse is not always true."

I have a personal Android phone and a work iPhone. The work iPhone has failed at doing its OS update two or three times in a row, then today when I needed to actually use my phone to call people for work it as saying I haaaaad to update iOS and RIGHT AWAY.
