• La bataille pour le contrôle du Donbass fait rage dans l’est de l’Ukraine, où l’étau des forces russes se resserre autour des villes clé de Severodonetsk, pilonnée sans relâche, et Lyssytchansk sa ville jumelle.

• Kiev s’est engagé à “tout faire” pour défendre le Donbass, où l’armée russe a intensifié son offensive, poussant les forces ukrainiennes à envisager un retrait stratégique sur certaines lignes de front dans cette région de l’est du pays afin d’éviter un encerclement. • Le président ukrainien Volodymyr Zelensky s’est rendu dimanche pour la première fois depuis l’invasion russe dans l’Est du pays, dans la région de Kharkiv, d’où Moscou a retiré ces dernières semaines ses troupes pour les concentrer sur d’autres fronts.
