And to stick to the topic: I just paid $16 for sandwiches that were $8-$9 four years ago. In the IT world I see anything faster than a Celeron (Atom, N100...) is a lot more money. Oddly the price of a new Toyota came way down over 15 months (buy high sell low I always say).
Thank You!! for a captioned service
Thank You!! for a captioned service (YouTube). My dogs doze quietly when there are no strange voices in the house. No ear-strain for me.
New viewer tips: "c" to start/stop Captions. Yes the scroll is janky. Non-California speech patterns befuddle the tiny brain. Caption options are in the Sprocket (not in [CC] like you would expect). It does seem to translate to dozens of languages beyond UK/AUS/US English; even Esperanto; I assume the translations get screwier the further you get from Silicon Valley. Deep inside Subtitles, Options you can pick font color and size. Before that you need to *drag* the subtitles away from lower left where Creators always introduce guests.
I recognize that YouTube is a political choice for some; also their ads recently overwhelmed my ad-defense. (UB origin plus an ancient creator account). I expect there will be to-and-fro opinions. That's mine.
