Intel Thermald 2.5.13 Restores Accidentally Deleted Wildcat Lake Support

Intel's Thermald released on Thursday as the newest update to this daemon for thermal monitoring on Intel hardware that was also recently extended for beginning to support Qualcomm/ARM hardware too. The main change with Thermald 2.5.13 is adding back Intel Wildcat Lake platform support after it was accidentally removed in the prior release.

Intel Thermald 2.5.11 that released back in January presented initial support for Intel's [1]Wildcat Lake as the low-cost alternative to Panther Lake. So it was quite surprising to see Thermald 2.5.13 having to add back the Wildcat Lake support.

It turns out Wildcat Lake was accidentally deleted during the code refactoring of Thermald 2.5.12 when [2]refactoring the codebase to support non-Intel platforms , namely Qualcomm/ARM hardware so far.

With [3]this pull now part of Thermald 2.5.13, Wildcat Lake support is restored in adding back the missing ID. Thermald is important for performance and power on modern laptops, so it's good this issue was caught for those pursuing budget Wildcat Lake laptops for Linux use.
