It's been just over three months since [1]the last AerynOS development update and new ISO spin but fortunately that's been succeeded today by a new development update and ISO images. AerynOS development remains strong and ongoing with many changes to be found in this latest from-scratch Linux distribution release.

AerynOS developers have been focusing on ensuring a solid foundation for their Linux distribution and furthering their vision around Linux distribution development. AerynOS developers have continued enhancing their build/package tooling and other infrastructure work. For end users, some recent additions have included experimental OpenZFS file-system support, continued Wayland integration improvements, and better hardware support with moving to the Linux 7.1 stable kernel as well as the NVIDIA R610 driver and other software updates.

Some recent package updates in AerynOS include the COSMIC 1.5 desktop, KDE Plasma 6.7.3, PHP 8.5.9, QEMU 11.0.3, Wine 11.14, and many other updates.
