Wayfire Wayland Compositor Closing In On v1.0 Release

([Wayland] 6 Hours Ago Wayfire 0.11 Released)

The Wayfire modular and extensible Wayland compositor formerly used by default on Raspberry Pi SBCs is nearing its v1.0 release. Wayfire 0.11 was released on Sunday for this Compiz-inspired, wlroots-powered compositor with that being their hopeful last planned version before Wayfire 1.0 releases.

Wayfire 0.11 hopes to be their last release before Wayfire 1.0. Wayfire 0.11 ships many fixes, new keybindings, support for the Wayland security-context-v1 protocol, support for ext-copy-capture and ext-foreign-toplevel-list protocols, support for ext-data-control-v1, support for cursor warp hints, XWayland integration improvements, touch improvements, grid improvements, explicit sync support, and dozens of other improvements. There is quite a lot of changes in this release of Wayfire as they close in on their big v1.0 milestone.

May I politely interject here: BULLSHIT. That's the biggest Apple lie of all!
