Wine 11.13 Better Supports Input Pointers, Improved Keyboard Scancode Mapping For X11

Wine 11.13 is out today as the newest bi-weekly development release for this open-source software enabling support for running Windows games and applications on Linux.

With Wine 11.13 there is better support for input pointers with Rémi Bernon having worked on a number of input improvements for this release. Wine also continues improving its X.Org/X11 support with Wine 11.13 having improved its keyboard scancode mapping for X11.

For those using Wine on ARM, there are FFmpeg optimizations now enabled in the multimedia code for ARM64EC.

There are 22 known bug fixes over the past two weeks affecting games like Grand Theft Auto: Vice City to apps like Adobe Acrobat Pro 7 and Sony Acid Pro 7.0.
