Canonical Releases Workshop As New Way Of Launching Development Environments

([Ubuntu] 6 Hours Ago Canonical Workshop)

Ubuntu maker Canonical announced today the release of Workshop as their new Snap-based application for launching development environments with ease.

Workshop allows launching development environments with ease and the YAML configuration files for said environments can be copied across machines for reproducing the same environments.

With Workshop you can thus enjoy a consistent, easy-to-launch development environment. Via the workshop YAML files SDKs like NVIDIA CUDA and AMD ROCm can be specified. Workshop builds off their work on LXD.

Those wishing to learn more about this new Workshop effort from Canonical can find all the initial details on it via the [1]Ubuntu Discourse .
