Recently I received the line-up of the NVIDIA RTX PRO "Blackwell" workstation graphics cards for seeing how these newest professional offerings from NVIDIA are performing on Linux and competing against the AMD Radeon AI PRO and Intel Arc Pro B-Series competition.
[1]
Last month I finally received the review samples on the current NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell line-up including the RTX PRO 6000, RTX PRO 5000, RTX PRO 4500, RTX PRO 4000, and RTX PRO 2000 models. This has allowed for creating a very nice and comprehensive look at how the NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell performance is looking relative to the prior NVIDIA RTX Ada Generation graphics cards as well as the competition from AMD and Intel while using all of the latest Linux graphics drivers for this fresh round of testing that took several weeks to prepare.
[2]
The NVIDIA RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell at the bottom of the stack provides 16GB of GDDR7 ECC video memory and a 70 Watt TDP while at the top-end is the NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell with 96GB GDDR7 ECC memory with a 600 Watt TDP. The pricing on the RTX PRO Blackwell graphics cards range from the RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell retailing for around $999 USD to the flagship RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell currently being listed for around $12,499 USD.
[3]
The NVIDIA RTX PRO 2000 Blackwell is a low-profile graphics card with 4,352 CUDA cores, 16GB GDDR7 with 128-bit memory interface, PCIe 5.0 x8 connectivity, four mini DisplayPort 2.1b ports, 70 Watt rated power consumption, and can be found for around $999 USD.
[4]
With the NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000 Blackwell is 8,960 CUDA cores, 24GB GDDR7 memory with 192-bit memory interface, four DisplayPort 2.1b connectors, and 145 Watt board power while retailing currently for around $2,199 USD.
[5]
Next up the stack is the NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell with 10,496 CUDA cores, 32GB GDDR7 memory with a 256-bit memory interface, four DisplayPort 2.1b outputs, and a 200 Watt board power while currently commanding a $3,699 USD retail price.
[6]
Moving on to the NVIDIA RTX PRO 5000 Blackwell is 14,090 CUDA cores, 48GB GDDR7 memory with a 512-bit memory interface, four DisplayPort 2.1b outputs, and a 300 Watt board power while retailing for about $5,219 USD.
[7]
Lastly is the NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell with its incredible 24,064 CUDA cores, 96GB GDDR7 video memory with a 512-bit memory interface, four DisplayPort 2.1b outputs, and a 600 Watt board power with a price tag around $12,499 USD.
