Vulkan 1.4.331 Brings Two New Extensions

([Vulkan] 72 Minutes Ago Vulkan 1.4.331)

Just one week after [1]Vulkan 1.4.330 brought five new extensions , Vulkan 1.4.331 is now available with another two new extensions for this high performance graphics and compute API.

Vulkan 1.4.331 has a handful of clarifications and other updates to the existing specification while adding two new vendor extensions:

VK_ARM_performance_counters_by_region - This new Arm extension allows capturing performance counters on a per region/tile basis. VK_ARM_performance_counters_by_region provides an enumeration of available counters and a means to request the ones to be captured on a per-render-pass instance.

VK_OHOS_external_memory - An external memory extension for use on Huawei's Open Harmony OS. The prior Vulkan spec update had introduced VK_OHOS_native_buffer for native buffer support on Open Harmony OS and is now complemented by external memory support as the Vulkan capabilities continue to be built out for this Chinese OS.
