Academy Software Foundation's OpenColorIO Adds Vulkan Support

([Free Software] 4 Hours Ago OpenColorIO + Vulkan)

The Academy Software Foundation's OpenColorIO "OCIO" project as a color management solution for motion picture production and related uses has added support for the Vulkan API.

OpenColorIO originated as a project made open-source by Sony Pictures Imageworks and has continued as an open-source effort now led by Autodesk and the Academy Software Foundation.

With the OpenColorIO 2.5 release there is now support for the Vulkan API, a hue curve transform option, ACES 2 configurations, and new color space attributes for better interoperability.

[1]The Vulkan merge goes into more details on this new integration for OCIO 2.5.

Couldn't we jury-rig the cat to act as an audio switch, and have it yell
at people to save their core images before logging them out? I'm sure
the cattle prod would be effective in this regard. In any case, a traverse
mounted iguana, while more perverted, gives better traction, not to mention
being easier to stake.
