Weston 14.0 was released today as the newest feature release for this reference Wayland compositor.

Weston 14.0 introduces initial hardware underlay support, configuration handling for output mirroring, PipeWire DMA-BUF enhancements, and a variety of fixes and other improvements. Back in the 14.0 [1]alpha announcement is a full list of all the feature changes this cycle.

Marius Vlad of Collabora in a brief mailing list post [2]announced the availability today of the Weston 14.0 compositor stable release.
