Several Newer Gaming Handheld Devices To See Linux Sensor Monitoring Support

([Hardware] 118 Minutes Ago OXP-Sensors)

The upstream Linux "oxp-sensors" driver began as [1]a driver for supporting the sensors on the OneXPlayer handheld . With time this driver has been [2]extended to support more handheld gaming consoles and a new patch enables support for several more devices.

A patch currently being reviewed adds support to the OXP-Sensors driver for several more handheld devices. The devices being enabled by this new patch include the OrangePi NEO-01, OneXPlayer 2 series / OneXFly / X1 series models, and the AYANEO models 2S / AIR 1S / Flip series, GEEK 1S / KUN.

Besides device IDs for the other devices, some other driver changes are needed such as for dealing with different PWM registers and other differences for the different devices. Besides sensor monitoring, the OXP-Sensors driver is also used by some of the OneXPLayer devices for turbo/silent button toggling

See [3]this patch if you happen to own one of the many handheld devices being added to this driver.
