SpaceX stock is going to be legit worthless (Score:1)
The only thing they had that they could point to and say would generate enough launches was going to be starlink internet and now they have somebody entering into their space (pun intended).
I'm sure they can ride the AI hype train long enough though to dump the stock into our 401ks using nasdaq's top 100... I'm just not so sure letting them do that was a good idea.

I guess it is possible that a third term of trump would send a shitload of taxpayer money to SpaceX. But a third term of trump is also going to mean the end of democracy and the American economy is going to collapse just like Russia's did after Putin got in charge.

Can we just agree that if 20 or whatever it is companies and countries independently put up some kind of Internet satellite network there's going to be way too much space junk and very dangerous low earth orbit for humans traversing it.

People should ask: "Amazon and whose rockets?" Because I don't see them using SpaceX and I also don't see a competitor anywhere near as mature as SpaceX.

Why wouldn't they? They already launched 72 satellites on Falcon 9 (24 * 3 launches) and have already contracted 10 more Falcon 9 launches.

They probably would love to not use SpaceX, but as you said, nobody else exists for the price-to-launch SpaceX is selling.
