Triste lundi pour les favoris d’un tableau du bas désormais totalement dégagé. Après Stefanos Tsitsipas, c’est au tour de Daniil Medvedev de sortir dès les huitièmes de finale de Roland-Garros. Méconnaissable et complètement dépassé, le numéro 2 mondial a pris une gifle monumentale face à Marin Cilic: 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 en seulement une heure et quarante-cinq minutes (!). Il y aura forcément un invité surprise en finale du tournoi parisien: ce sera soit Ruud, soit Rune, soit Rublev, soit Cilic.
