Un neuvième cas de variole du singe détecté en Belgique

Neuf cas d’infection par la variole du singe ont jusqu’à présent été identifiés en Belgique, indique samedi la RTBF. L’information a été confirmée à l’agence Belga par le virologue Marc Van Ranst.

Les tous premiers cas remontent à un festival international de fétichisme, Darklands, qui a eu lieu à Anvers au début du mois. Le virus se propage par contact étroit entre les personnes.
