Voici à quoi ressemblera la Ligue des Champions “new look”

La Ligue des champions débutera à partir de 2024-2025 par un mini-championnat de 8 journées avec 36 équipes, contre 32 clubs disputant aujourd’hui la phase de groupes sur 6 journées, a tranché mardi l’UEFA, une réforme controversée censée proposer davantage de matches aux diffuseurs.

À l’issue de son Comité exécutif à Vienne, l’instance européenne a adopté les contours de cette refonte, avec également deux places additionnelles attribuées aux deux meilleures nations européennes sur la saison précédente, sorte de filet de rattrapage pour les cadors et un troisième club qualifié pour la cinquième nation à l’indice UEFA, actuellement la France.
