TUI Belgium annule tous les vols vers la Bulgarie jusqu’à la fin du mois de juin

TUI Belgium annule tous les vols à destination et en provenance de la Bulgarie jusqu’au 30 juin, rapporte samedi soir VRT NWS. Tous les vols du tour-opérateur vers la Macédoine du Nord ont également été annulés, et ce pour toute la saison estivale.

TUI Belgium assure normalement deux vols par semaine vers deux aéroports bulgares : Burgas et Varna, tous deux situés à l’est du pays, sur la mer Noire. Mais le fait que la Russie et l’Ukraine bordent également la mer Noire semble avoir un impact sur le tourisme en Bulgarie.

“La Bulgarie n’est pas un pays à risque, mais nous avons remarqué que les voyageurs belges sont quelque peu réticents à choisir une destination d’Europe de l’Est en ce moment”, explique Piet Demeyere de TUI Belgium. Certaines destinations populaires, comme Prague, la capitale tchèque, sont moins prisées en ce moment. “Les voyageurs préfèrent faire un city trip à Valence (Espagne) ou à Lisbonne (Portugal) plutôt que dans une ville d’Europe de l’Est comme Prague. Toute la région souffre un peu de la situation en Ukraine”.
