Jamie Carragher: “Man U a fait une erreur en signant à nouveau Ronaldo”

Jamie Carragher, ancien joueur de Liverpool désormais chroniqueur pour The Telegraph, a fait une sortie remarquée sur Manchester United et Cristiano Ronaldo. “Man U a fait une erreur en signant à nouveau Cristiano Ronaldo l’été dernier. Le laisser partir à la fin de la saison résoudra plus de problèmes qu’il n’en créera”, a lancé l’Anglais.

Même s'il reconnaît que Cristinao Ronaldo est toujours “l’un des meilleurs buteurs”, Jamie Carragher n’est pas convaincu par le choix de United de l’avoir recruté lors du dernier mercato estival. “United a marqué 121 dans toutes les compétitions en 2020-21, son plus haut total depuis 14 ans, c’est parce qu’il s’agissait d’une équipe plus équilibrée et unifiée qu’aujourd’hui”, a-t-il déclaré dans sa chronique pour The Telegraph.

La légende de Liverpool va plus loin en affirmant que Man U se porterait mieux dans sa star. “Il y a du bruit généré à chaque fois après un autre résultat décevant. “Quand un manager laisse de côté un homme de 37 ans, il ne devrait pas y avoir de bruit”, a-t-il poursuivi. “Aucun joueur ne peut jamais être plus grand que le club. Et personne ne le savait mieux que Sir Alex Ferguson qui, en 2006, a vendu l’un des buteurs les plus prolifiques de la Premier League, Ruud Van Nistelrooy, car il estimait que la soif personnelle de buts de l’attaquant entravait la progression des jeunes coéquipiers émergents.”

The more a man is imbued with the ordered regularity of all events, the firmer
