Introduced back in Linux 7.1 was [1]the Yogafan HWMON driver for supporting fan speed monitoring across various Lenovo Yoga, Legion, Flex, Slim, and IdeaPad laptops. An initial set of Lenovo laptops was initially supported by this driver while succeeding kernel versions have continued building out the support.

With the upcoming Linux 7.4 kernel cycle, several more Lenovo laptops will support fan speed monitoring under Linux with this driver. Queued patches intended for Linux 7.4 add more laptops including:

- Lenovo Yoga Pro 9 16IMH9

- Lenovo Yoga 740-15IML

- Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ALC6 Ub

- Lenovo Yoga 14cACN 2021

The latest Yogafan enablement patches are queued up within the [2]hwmon-next Git branch ahead of the Linux 7.4 merge window getting underway in late October.
