Following the release of [1]DXVK 3.0 from late June that brought several big changes, DXVK 3.0.1 is out today with shipping various game fixes and other improvements to this important piece of Valve's Steam Play (Proton) for Direct3D Windows games on Linux.
DXVK 3.0.1 now disables secondary command buffer usage on all desktop GPUs. This may "slightly impact performance" for a small number of games but this code has been producing hard to debug rendering issues and GPU hangs. DXVK 3.0.1 also fixes a rendering regression for a number of Direct3D 9 games, fixes some possible crashes, improves GPU synchronization around stream output, and works around some Windows-specific handling issues.
DXVK 3.0.1 also has game specific fixes for Empire Earth 2, Fallout 3, Fruit Ninja, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, King's Bounty: The Legend, Manhunt, Splinter Cell 3, and Total War: Medieval II. The D3D9 rendering regression fix should also help GTA IV, Gothic 3, and Black Mesa.
