KDE Plasma 6.7.2 Brings Fix For Most Common KWin Crash, Better Chromium Video Playback

KDE Plasma 6.7.2 is out today as the latest point release to deliver bug fixes for the [1]Plasma 6.7 desktop that debuted earlier this month.

Most notable with Plasma 6.7.2 is [2]fixing the most common crash within KWin that pertained to variable refresh rate handling with multi-monitor setups. Plasma 6.7.2 also fixes a possible crash within the KDE Info Center when trying to display information on select NVIDIA GPUs.

There is also improved full-screen video playback performance for Chromium-based apps in Plasma 6.7.2. Helping the performance is a Wayland workaround for some freezes in Chromium due to its buffer handling.

Plasma 6.7.2 KWin also brings some fixes for select AMD GPU setups, optimize querying of the X window shape, Plasma Big Screen fixes, and various other fixes.
