New device support for firmware updating under Linux with Fwupd 2.1.2 includes various mice, the never ending churn around USB-C docks and hubs, and even some cameras. The hardware support new to Fwupd 2.1.2 includes:

- Elan TP IC type 0x19

- Google Moonstone

- HP 400 and 405 Mouse

- Lenovo USB-4 dock

- LX Semicon SW42101 touch controller

- Parade USB hubs with GPIO control

Google Moonstone appears to be the codename for an upcoming Google Chromebook with the Moonstone hardware ID addition being in regards to the Elan touchpad firmware updating.

Our documentation manager was showing her 2 year old son around the office.
He was introduced to me, at which time he pointed out that we were both
holding bags of popcorn. We were both holding bottles of juice. But only
*he* had a lollipop.
He asked his mother, "Why doesn't HE have a lollipop?"
Her reply: "He can have a lollipop any time he wants to. That's
what it means to be a programmer."
