KDE Plasma 6.6.1 Released With Initial Batch Of Bug Fixes

Following last week's [1]Plasma 6.6 release, KDE developers today shipped Plasma 6.6.1 as the first point release with an assortment of different bug fixes.

Plasma 6.6.1 brings dozens of bug fixes over last week's release with most of the fixes affecting the KWin compositor as well as the Plasma Desktop and Plasma Workspace components. Plasma 6.6.1 fixes include addressing some possible crashes such as KWin going out when seeing intensive input method usage, KWin crashing when waking the system up while using Input Leap or other select apps, or Discover crashing when trying to install updates.

Plasma 6.6.1 for KRDP fixes server-to-client clipboard handling for RDP clients, some X11 XCB fixes for KWin, the KWin DRM back-end now supports dimming with software brightness on external screens, support for custom modes in the virtual back-end, and a wide variety of other fixes.
