The Newelle app now supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server support for AI agents to connect and interact with external data, tools, and systems for real-time context. Now that Newelle has MCP server support, it can interface with a lot more software supporting this open standard for more functionality and greater interoperability.
In addition to MCP server support, Newelle has added "Tools" in its latest release for extensions to add new tools in an easy manner. Large language models (LLMs) can also now be favorited by the user. Plus new shortcuts too.
