The upcoming Linux 6.19 kernel will add support for the Line 6 POD HD Pro X audio effects processor that has been in the market for several years now -- the past decade! -- but only now seeing the necessary additions for Linux support.
The Line 6 POD HD Pro X is a multi-effects processor popular with guitarists that retails currently for ~$549. This rack-mountable device has support queued up for working with what will be the mainline Linux 6.19 kernel.
Various Line 6 brand audio devices are already supported by the Line6 USB sound driver while the POD HD Pro X is the latest seeing support. The POD HD Pro X uses the same protocol as other Line 6 POD HD devices and just needs ID and configuration data added for enabling the support.
[1]This patch currently in the sound subsystem's "for-next" Git branch adds that HD Pro X support. So barring any surprises, you will be able to find the Line 6 HD Pro X support with the Linux 6.19 kernel.
