GNOME Gains A New macOS-Inspired Quick Menu Option

([GNOME] 79 Minutes Ago GNOME macOS Inspired)

For GNOME desktop users desiring a more macOS-like experience, a new GNOME extension provides a macOS-inspired quick menu option.

As pointed out in GNOME's weekly [1]This Week in GNOME publication, there is a new extension option for those wanting a macOS-like quick menu for their desktop.

It is called the [2]Kiwi Menu and had its first release this week to provide recent items, a power menu, and other options.

They also recommend pairing it with the [3]Kiwi is not Apple extension for an even more macOS-like GNOME experience:

Other GNOME changes this week include PAM support making it into oo7-daemon to be a drop-in replacement for the GNOME Keyring Daemon, continued work on the Bazaar app, Fractal messaging app updates, and other new/updated GNOME extensions.

Wings of OS/400:
The airline has bought ancient DC-3s, arguably the best and safest planes
that ever flew, and painted "747" on their tails to make them look as if
they are fast. The flight attendants, of course, attend to your every need,
though the drinks cost $15 a pop. Stupid questions cost $230 per hour,
unless you have SupportLine, which requires a first class ticket and
membership in the frequent flyer club. Then they cost $500, but your
accounting department can call it overhead.
