TrueNAS 25.10-RC1 Brings Better Disk Import/Export, ZFS Rewrite Improvements

TrueNAS 25.10-RC1 is out today as the newest test release of this OpenZFS+Linux-based operating system for network attached storage (NAS) hardware and other storage devices.

TrueNAS 25.10 this cycle has been working on [1]installation improvements , NVIDIA Blackwell support, [2]400 GbE networking , performance improvements, and a variety of other improvements.

With TrueNAS 25.10-RC1 there is now the ability to import and export virtual disk images within the virtualization system, NVMe-over-Fabric "NVMe-oF" fixes, web UI fixes, and a variety of other updates over prior versions. TrueNAS 25.10-RC1 also further improves the OpenZFS zfs rewrite capabilities, a new optinal web-driven installation means, and other alterations.
