Debuting today is the newest [1]NVIDIA 580 Linux driver series release.

There is one new feature of the NVIDIA 580.95.05 Linux driver release and that is supporting YCbCr 4:2:2 display modes over HDMI Fixed Rate Link (FRL). This YCbCr 4:2:2 HDMI FRL support works with just the latest NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs and newer.

The other changes in today's NVIDIA Linux driver release include some error fixes for the NVIDIA DRM kernel driver, fixing a bug for the game Indiana Jones and the Great Circle under Steam Play, and a NVIDIA R575 regression fix causing GPUs to bne powered on unnecessarily due to an ACPI issue.
