The Mozilla Firefox 137 release binaries are now available ahead of the official release set for Tuesday.
Most exciting with Firefox 137 for Linux users is now [1]supporting HEVC/H.265 with the Video Acceleration API . For those using the Mesa VA Gallium3D state tracker like the Radeon graphics, the Intel VA-API driver, the NVIDIA VA-API conversion code, or similar Video Acceleration API implementations can now enjoy accelerated H.265/HEVC content with Firefox on Linux.
Firefox 137 also adds text-decoration-line CSS property support for spelling-error and grammar-error conditions, new JavaScript APIs, SVG additions, and various other changes. See [2]Firefox 137 for developers for more background information.
