AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D Linux Benchmarks Forthcoming

([AMD] 3 Hours Ago 9900X3D)

Today marks the retail availability of the AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D and Ryzen 9 9950X3D processors. At the top of the hour when the new AMD Zen 5 3D V-Cache processors went on sale, I found both the 9900X3D and 9950X3D in-stock and at MSRP pricing... Less than a half hour later, the 9950X3D is now out of stock while as of writing the 9900X3D remains in-stock at major Internet retailers at its $599 price point.

In case you missed it see yesterday's [1]AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D Linux review with hundreds of benchmarks and CPU power numbers. Sadly, AMD isn't seeding the Ryzen 9 9900X3D for reviewers and thus this morning I was eager to buy a 9900X3D for Linux testing across a wide range of workloads. At 9AM EST I was able to buy the 12-core 9900X3D in-stock from NewEgg at $599 USD.

The Ryzen 9 9900X3D should be arriving tomorrow and thus on Friday or Monday will have out my initial Linux performance numbers for the AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D on Ubuntu Linux. As of writing some 40 minutes later, the Ryzen 9 9900X3D remains in-stock at $599 USD. The Ryzen 9 9900X3D is also available via [2]Amazon.com (affiliate link) at $599 USD too with next-day delivery.

But the Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16-core $699 processor has since sold out and currently not seeing it available at any US Internet retailer.

Stay tuned for the Ryzen 9 9900X3D Linux performance benchmarks in the coming days. For now check out the [3]Ryzen 9 9950X3D review . I also have [4]more Ryzen 9 9950X3D benchmark results for those interested and to [5]generate your own 9950X3D comparison against other CPUs.

The Three Major Kind of Tools

* Tools for hittings things to make them loose or to tighten them up or
jar their many complex, sophisticated electrical parts in such a
manner that they function perfectly. (These are your hammers, maces,
bludgeons, and truncheons.)

* Tools that, if dropped properly, can penetrate your foot. (Awls)

* Tools that nobody should ever use because the potential danger is far
greater than the value of any project that could possibly result.
(Power saws, power drills, power staplers, any kind of tool that uses
any kind of power more advanced than flashlight batteries.)
